This listing is for a Sewing Pattern for a Boy's Netted Satchel (for luncheon, picnics, excursions, etc), made from an original 1869 Harper's Bazar pattern.
The satchel is to be made on a foundation of oil-cloth or leather (for which the pattern is supplied, however instructions for how to make the netting design IS NOT included
The PDF Pattern (A90721 7) has been copied exactly as published in 1869 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 2 A4 or Letter pages using an ordinary printer
A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in ENGLISH as published in 1869 is also supplied.
Expert knowledge of sewing items and Netting will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction.
It does not include step by step instructions on how to complete the NETTING.
This is offered for research purposes, I CAN NOT advise on completion of the netting content.
