This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Riding Habit of black cloth, made from an original 1869 Harpers Bazar pattern. This pattern is for a skirt and bodice with peplum and trowsers.
The PDF Pattern for the habit (A90721 32) has been copied exactly as published in 1869 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 25 A4 and Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 2 A0 pages. The measurements for the skirt panel is included in the instructions.
A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in English as published in 1869 is also supplied.
Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction.
