1870 Plain Linen Suit

This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Paletot for an unbleached batist or linen suit, made from an original 1870 La Moda Elegante pattern. This pattern is for a Paletot only, but also contains an example of the embroidery for the suit. The skirt and the belt patterns are NOT included

The PDF Pattern for the outfit (E00715 34) has been copied exactly as published in 1870 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 17 A4 or 20 Letter pages for using an ordinary printer or 2 A0 pages

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in SPANISH (with an internet translation to English) as published in 1870 is also supplied.

Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction.
