1885 Grenadine and Satin Merveilleux Dress Sewing Pattern - INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF

This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern of a Grenadine and Satin Merveilleux Dress, made from an original 1885 Harper's Bazar Pattern.

The model consists of a draped skirt of chestnut grenadine with frisé velvet figures, and a panier polonaise of the same grenadine with brown satin merveilleux drapery. The Pattern includes the skirt drapery, as well as the polonaise drapery.

The PDF Pattern (I50820 1) has been copied exactly as published in 1885 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 84 A4 or Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 6 A0 pages. Some of the bodice pattern pieces have been overlaid on the drapery pieces to save on printing.

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions as published in 1885 is also supplied.

Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction
