This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern of a Travelling Costume made from an original 1896 La Mode Illustree Pattern.

The PDF Pattern (O60530 15) has been copied exactly as published in 1896 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as PDFs of 63 A4 or 64 Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 5 A0 pages.

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in FRENCH (with an internet translation into ENGLISH) is also supplied.

Knowledge of sewing historical garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction.

This garment contains extremely complex pieces/instructions/techniques, and will not be suitable for beginners.
