1897 Dress with Velvet Trim Sewing Pattern - INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF

This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Dress with a Velvet Trim, made from an original 1897 La Mode Illustree Pattern, see measurements for details. The pattern does not include the white collar and bow pictured, or diagram for the ribbon trimming.

The PDF Pattern (O70825 51) has been copied exactly as published in 1897 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 47 A4 or 48 Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 4 A0 page.

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in FRENCH (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) is also supplied.

Experience of sewing historical garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only very basic instructions for the garment construction. This is an extremely complex pattern, and no step by step instructions are included.
