This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Visiting outfit, made from an original 1897 La Mode Illustree Pattern, see measurements for details. The pattern is only for the bodice, the skirt pattern IS NOT included

The PDF Pattern (O70730 1) has been copied exactly as published in 1897 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 18 A4 or 19 Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 1 A0 page.

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in FRENCH (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) is also supplied.

Expert knowledge of sewing historical garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only very basic instructions for the garment construction. This is an extremely complex pattern, and no step by step instructions are included.
