1901 X Large Men's Day Shirt, Collar and Cuffs Sewing Pattern

This listing is for a Sewing Pattern for a large man's day shirt including the collar and cuffs , made from an original 1901 La Mode Illustrée pattern.
This shirt pattern has an unusual centre back closure (which is covered by the detachable collar) and is described as having a bib that "is not fastened at the bottom, which prevents it from bulging and makes this model particularly suitable for men with a thick waist".

The PDF Pattern (E10902 16) has been copied exactly as published in 1901 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 24 A4 or letter pages using an ordinary printer or 2 A0 Pages.

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in FRENCH (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) is also supplied.

After unzipping the folder, choose the file to print according to your paper size by selecting either the 'A4', 'Letter' or 'A0' PDF after the pattern name

Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only basic instructions for the garment construction.
