This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Linen Suit made from an original 1912 La Mode Illustrée.
The model is made from old rose fabric, trimmed with embroidery and white fabric; the white fabric is used for the three-panelled skirt over which the old rose fabric tunic falls, the fronts of which are slightly crossed and rounded at the bottom; the outlines are trimmed with shiny cotton embroidery in flat stitch and stem stitch
The embroidery pattern or the blouse/guime ARE NOT included in the pattern
The PDF Pattern (B20601 5) has been copied exactly as published in 1912 using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 47 A4 or 49 Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 3 A0 pages
A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in FRENCH (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) is also supplied.
Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only very basic instructions for the garment construction.
The original pattern is for the following measurements:
Bust 90cm, Waist 60cm.
Materials: 4m of 1.1m fabric, 2.25m of 90cm white fabric
