This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Ladies' Elegant Coat, made from an original 1940 Pattern. 

The elegant coat made of lace, taffeta or silk is only held together by the collar cuff tied at the front with a clasp.  The width of the inserted back panel is narrowed at the top by a small amount.  Simple long sleeve. Required 3.5m fabric 90cm wide

The PDF Pattern (F00701 22) has been copied exactly as published using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 24 A4 or 28 Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 2 A0 pages

Make sure that you set your printer for No' Paper Scaling'.

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in GERMAN (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) as published in 1940 is also supplied.

Expert knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only very basic instructions for the garment construction.
