1940 Raglan Sleeve Coat Sewing Pattern - INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF

This listing is for a PDF Sewing Pattern for a Ladies' Raglan Sleeve Over Coat/Duster with Concealed Buttons, made from an original 1940 Pattern. 

The coat has a raglan shape and a concealed button fastening.  It has a contrasting lining or, if you have enough fabric, is completely lined with a checked lining.  Requirement for 96cm Bust: about 2.45m fabric 145cm wide

The PDF Pattern (F00701 1a) has been copied exactly as published using a CAD program and will print out FULL SIZE pattern pieces as a PDF of 35 A4 or Letter pages using an ordinary printer or 3 A0 pages

Make sure that you set your printer for No' Paper Scaling'.

A separate file for the Pattern Instructions in GERMAN (with an internet translation to ENGLISH) as published in 1940 is also supplied.

Knowledge of sewing garments will be required, as the original pattern does not include seam allowances, and gives only very basic instructions for the garment construction. You may need to research additional techniques, like how to insert a Concealed Button Placket
